
Olubukola Tokede

Dr Olubukola Tokede is a Life Cycle Assessment Certified Practitioner (LCACP) and a member of the board of directors of the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Dr Olubukola Tokede holds a B.Sc.(Hons) in Civil Engineering and a M.Sc. in Construction Project Management. Dr Tokede obtained his Ph.D. in the School of Engineering and Built Environment, Edinburgh Napier University, UK in 2016. Prior to his academic career, Olubukola worked in the industry for two years and was involved in the construction of pedestrian bridges, airport construction projects, water corporation projects and Large billboard footings. Dr Olubukola Tokede also worked with the United Nations Agency (UNA), Edinburgh, Scotland for a 12-month period as research personnel on investigations on alternative renewable energy sources. Dr Tokede lectured for a period of three years (2013 - 2016) at Edinburgh Napier University, UK prior to taking up a Lectureship at Deakin University, Australia. Dr Tokede has published over 50 scientific papers and has a growing research profile. Dr Tokede's research focuses on life cycle project performance, with particular emphasis on the operational aspects of buildings and civil engineering infrastructure.
